Florida Bar Executive Director Joshua E. Doyle has announced a vacancy on the Board of Governors due to the election of of 11th Circuit board member Roland Sanchez-Medina, Jr., as president-elect designate. Sanchez-Medina was finishing out a two-year term on the board.

The office commences on June 23 and continues for a term ending June 21, 2024, or until a successor is elected and qualifies.

Pursuant to Rule 2-3.9, nominating petitions for the vacancy must be filed with the office of the Executive Director on or before 5 p.m., Tuesday, February 14.  Election ballots will be distributed on or before Wednesday, March 1, and completed ballots must be received by 11:59 p.m. on March 21.  The voting deadline may change to 11:59 p.m. on March 15 if the Florida Supreme Court approves amendments to Bylaw 2-3.6 before March 1.
