The William A. Van Nortwick, Jr., Presentation of the Pins event is an annual tradition that recognizes the work of attorneys in promoting access to justice.
The event was recently held at the Duval County Courthouse in Jacksonville and is named in honor of William A. Van Nortwick, Jr., an attorney and jurist known for his commitment to pro bono service and dedication to improving access to justice for those in need.
Attorneys who donated at least 20 hours of pro bono service or made meaningful donations to organizations supporting such efforts were recognized. The event was organized by the Fourth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee, chaired by Judge Steve Fahlgren, and the Jacksonville Bar Association Pro Bono Committee.
