The Mental Health and Wellness of Florida Lawyers Committee, created three years ago to address a crisis in the profession, is celebrating another victory.

At a January 27 meeting, committee members learned that an agreement with the Florida State Alliance of YMCAs was finalized only the day before to give Bar members access to discounted memberships at some 124 participating centers in 37 counties across the state.

“Having a gym member benefit has been the elusive goal of this committee for several years,” said Chair Karl Klein.
