Members may opt out of receiving hard copy of the News
The Florida Bar is now offering its members the option to opt out of receiving the printed version of The Florida Bar News. This initiative, which aims to save significant resources, is in line with ongoing efforts to modernize the Bar’s communications and respond to changing member preferences for digital content.
Members may now easily opt out of receiving the physical newspaper by sending an email to OptOutNews@floridabar.org. Soon, a more streamlined process will be available directly through the member portal, allowing members to manage their preferences with ease.
The transition to digital formats has been met with enthusiasm from many members. According to the Bar’s most recent survey, nearly 44% of members prefer to receive their news electronically, with only a slight majority (44.93%) preferring the print version. A growing trend of digital engagement is evident, with the combined Journal & News website seeing over 2.2 million page views last year alone.
