Measure would increase the percentage of votes needed to amend the constitution

A South Florida lawmaker is renewing an effort to make it more difficult to amend the Florida Constitution.

Rep. Rick Roth, R-Palm Beach Gardens, filed HJR 177 September 22. The measure has yet to receive committee references ahead of the 60-day session that convenes January 11. There is no Senate companion.
