Measure expands exceptions to grand jury secrecy
Sen. Tina Polsky
A Senate panel has agreed to expand exceptions to grand jury secrecy after victims accused a former prosecutor of mishandling a 2006 case against Jeffrey Epstein.
The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 8-0 Wednesday to approve SB 234 by Democratic Sen. Tina Polsky, a Boca Raton attorney. Republican Sen. Jonathan Martin, a Ft. Myers attorney, is a co-sponsor.
