Legislature fully funds many court system priorities
Chief Justice Carlos Muniz
Florida lawmakers have approved a record $17 billion spending plan for FY 2023-24, a 7.4% increase over current spending that would fully fund many court spending priorities.
“We are very grateful for the Legislature’s support for the judicial branch, especially the funding of $21.8 million for critical due process resources for our trial courts and $11.9 million for the third and final year of our pandemic recovery plan,” Chief Justice Carlos Muñiz said in a statement.
