Legal Aid Service of Collier County received a grant of $15,000 from the Collier County Community Foundation to address costs and expenses necessary to maintain operations and to keep capacity at levels necessary to address client demand.

Established in 1985, the foundation is a charitable organization that focuses on local private philanthropy. It manages more than 850 funds and has granted over $268 million to non-profit organizations, community programs, and scholarships.

Legal Aid provides free legal services to more than 2,300 clients annually to address safety, health, and ability to meet basic needs such as food, shelter, and medical care.
