In partnership with the Trusts & Estates Section of the Collier County Bar, Legal Aid Service of Collier County will be conducting its 13th Annual “Wills for Heroes” event to prepare health-care proxy/powers, living wills, wills, and related basic estate planning instruments free of charge for some of the “heroes” in the community — including veterans, reservists, police officers, firefighters, EMTs/first responders, and their spouses.

All services are being provided free of charge as a way to thank these “local heroes” for their service.

“It is truly an honor for Legal Aid and all of our pro bono attorneys and volunteers to give back to the men and women who have sacrificed and given so much for our country and community,” said Fernanda Guerrero, Legal Aid Service of Collier County’s pro bono coordinator who facilitates the Collier Lawyers Care Pro Bono Program. “We hope all of our local heroes who do not have a basic estate plan in place participate this year.”
