Lawmakers approve allowing judges to take ‘judicial notice’ of web mapping services

The Florida Legislature has agreed to authorize courts to take judicial notice of information gleaned from internet mapping services.

The House voted 112-0 on March 4 to approve SB 634 by Sen. Jennifer Bradley, R-Orange Park. Rep. Will Robinson, R-Bradenton, sponsored the companion, HB 677.
