Navigation Judge Salcines honored as Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero, donates award to The Florida Bar Foundation
Retired Second DCA Judge Emiliano J. Salcines was named a Lightning Community Hero by the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning and Salcines donated $20,000 of the award to the Foundation, which plans to use in support of its Loan Repayment Assistance Program for civil legal aid staff lawyers. The Tampa Bay Lightning recently named retired Second District Court of Appeal Judge Emiliano Jose “E.J.” Salcines its Lightning Community Hero.
Judge Salcines then donated $20,000 of his award from the Lightning Foundation to The Florida Bar Foundation.
