Palm Beach County Judge Marni Bryson has been suspended without pay for 10 days and fined $37,500 for failing to devote full time to her judicial duties.

The Supreme Court acted November 24 in Case No. SC21-546.

The case arose from events that occurred between 2016 and 2019 where Judge Bryson was absent from the courthouse beyond the permitted number of days for judicial leave, failed to make appropriate notifications of some absences to appropriate court management, and on some days, when she was in the courthouse the number of hours present, fell below what is expected of trial judges.
