Kevin T. McGavock has withdrawn from the race for the Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors, Ninth Circuit, Seat 1 race.

McGavock dropped out a week after the December 15 filing deadline. His action means that Arti A. Hirani is unopposed and has won election to that seat.

Fifteen other candidates are still contesting five other seats for the YLD board in the upcoming March Bar elections. Those races are in the 11th, 13th, and 17th circuits.
