Gov. DeSantis appoints Melanie Griffin secretary of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation

Gov. Ron DeSantis recently appointed Tampa lawyer Melanie Griffin as secretary of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Griffin come to her new role from Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick and is a former president of The Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division, serving in 2013-14.
