Navigation George Edgecomb and Fred G. Minnis bars to host a Black History Month Reception
The George Edgecomb Bar Association and the Fred G. Minnis Bar Association will host a Black History Month Reception February 28 at the George Edgecomb Courthouse in Tampa starting at 6 p.m.
The George Edgecomb Bar will unveil its “40 for 40 List” comprising 40 major milestone moments and accomplishments since the bar’s inception. The keynote speaker will be the late Judge George Edgcomb’s wife, Doretha Wynn Edgecomb.
The Minnis Bar will honor its founding members and reflect on its efforts to establish the association named after the first African-American attorney in Pinellas County.
