Edward Blumberg

Miami trial attorney and former Florida Bar President Edward Blumberg has been elected chair of the 21-person board of trustees of The National Judicial College, the oldest, largest, and most widely attended school for judges in the United States.

“I’m honored to lead the governing board of this unique organization at a time when the judiciary really represents democracy’s last line of defense,” said Blumberg, who served as Florida Bar president in 1997-98. “There’s never been a time in the history of the United States when it was more important to have an independent and impartial judiciary.”
