Navigation Florida legislators head to Tallahassee next week in preparation for 2023 session
With the 2022 midterm elections in the rearview mirror, Florida’s House and Senate leaders are gearing up for 2023 Legislative Session slated to begin at noon on March 7, 2023.
The Legislature will gather at the Florida Capitol November 22 to hold an organizational session, the first formal day of the legislative term. The organizational session, statutorily mandated to occur 14 days following the general election, convenes both chambers for the selection of officers.
Senate President-designate and Naples-based attorney Kathleen Passidomo announced most her leadership team on November 14.
