Florida Bar members begin embracing CLE incentive for pro bono service
Scores of Florida Bar members have requested CLE credit for pro bono service since the Supreme Court’s amendments to Rule 6-10.3 (h) took effect in December.
Maritza McGill, director of the Bar’s Legal Specialization and Education Department, said that as of August 5, 179 members requested CLE credit through an online form.
“I am sure that much more pro bono work is being done,” by lawyers who are not requesting CLE credit, McGill was quick to note.
