With hurricane season still underway through November 30, FFLA has launched a new preparedness resource to help Floridians face the storm and navigate the legal challenges that can follow.

The organization’s new tool includes two comprehensive slide sets packed with practical links and actionable tips. The first focuses on key resources and steps to take before a storm, while the second offers guidance for addressing post-storm legal issues and recovery efforts.

“FFLA looks forward to collaborating with local voluntary bar associations, courts, and legal aid organizations to support the public with these guides,” FFLA Executive Director Donny MacKenzie said. “We hope to help Floridians better prepare for hurricanes and the aftermath.”
