Florida law students visiting to the Organization of American States in Washington, D.C.

In an educational journey led by Florida A&M Law Professor Jeremy Levitt, a group of law students and a graduate student from Baylor University traveled to Washington, D.C., to explored institutions such as the Organization of American States (OAS), the U.S. Congress, and the American Society of International Law (ASIL).

“Exposure is a linchpin to good lawyering, and one cannot be a zealous advocate without experiential education,” said Professor Levitt, president of the Stono Institute for Freedom, Justice and Security. “Our students flourish when enriching experiences challenge them to think out of the box and contemplate new paradoxes.”
