Lawyers and professionals from RumbergerKirk will host a series of virtual professional development workshops for Florida A&M University College of Law students during the 2021-2022 academic year.

This is the third year the law firm has presented the RumbergerKirk Professional Development Series to help prepare future lawyers for real-world experiences.

The series kicked off September 16 via Zoom with firm lawyers sharing their experience on the topic, “Transitioning from Government Practice to Private Practice.” Three of the firm’s associates, Latravious Johnson of, Stephanie Calcote and Kathleen Shea of Orlando talked with the students about various ways they can successfully shift from a career in government to a career in private practice.
