The biennial Trial Advocacy Workshop, an interactive, professional development program organized by the Family Law Section, will take place July 23-27 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami.

The four-day workshop will focus on honing trial skills for family law attorneys.

Participating attorneys select either a “Children’s Issues” or “Financial Issues” track and will prepare and present a family law case from beginning to end. Each participant is paired with an opposing counsel and are part of a small group of experts designed for individualized attention and critique from workshop leaders, all of whom are Board Certified Marital and Family Law attorneys, judges, or general magistrates. The course has been expanded by one day to allow attendees additional time to improve trial skills and work more with expert witnesses as they prepare and present their case.
