Navigation Family Law Section to celebrate 50th anniversary with ‘Roaring 20s’ themed gala
In 1973, the Bar Family Law Section was formed, with the late George Onoprienko serving as its first chair. Over the next 50 years, the section evolved into a thriving organization of more than 4,000 members from across the state, including attorneys, members of the judiciary, paralegals, and professional affiliates.
The Family Law Section’s mission is to promote the highest standards of professionalism and legal advocacy in the delivery of a wide array of services to families while seeking the consistent, fair, and expeditious administration of justice.
To celebrate its golden anniversary, the section plans a Roaring 20’s-themed gala set for Saturday, August 26, at The Ritz Carlton in Naples. The event will culminate the section’s annual fall committee meetings scheduled for August 25.
