The Family Law Section celebrated its 50th anniversary with a 1920s themed event, which featured live music, dinner, dancing, and a video montage with photos featuring section members and events from the past several decades.

More than 150 Family Law Section members and guests attended the section’s 50th Anniversary Gala held at The Ritz Carlton in Naples on August 26.

Attendees included Florida Bar President Scott Westheimer; previous Florida Bar Presidents Dori Foster-Morales and John Stewart; American Association of Matrimonial Lawyers, Florida Chapter, President Caryn Green; members of the judiciary and many section trustees, including Steve Sessums, who served two terms as chair from 1981-83.
