The House has approved a measure that would shield the identity of renters in certain eviction proceedings.

The House voted 115-1 on April 15 to approve HB 1193 by Rep. Vance Aloupis, Jr., R-Miami, and an attorney.  A companion, SB 1746 by Sen. Shevrin Jones, D-Miami Gardens, has yet to be heard.
