As the seasons changed from spring to summer, the number of submissions to the statewide E-filing Portal have begun a typical downward trend, according to the Florida Courts E-Filing Authority.

The authority released its Portal progress report for June and the total number of documents filed stood at 2.94 million (in 2.01 submissions). Those numbers are nearly 2% lower than May, and down over 26% from the record high in March of 2023.

Portal Program Manager Carolyn Weber noted that numbers during the summer months always see a tick down as many lawyers spend time away from the office on vacation.
