The Division of Administrative Hearings recently dedicated its largest hearing room for former Director and Chief Judge Peter V. Antonacci in recognition of  his 20 plus years of public service.

“Pete’s time here was too short,” DOAH Director and Chief Judge Brian Newman said. “But his impact on DOAH and its employees, was immeasurable. He richly deserves this recognition.”

In addition to serving at DOAH, Antonacci taught high school; served as a health planner; an assistant state attorney; Statewide prosecutor; a member of The Florida Bar’s Criminal Procedure Rules Committee; deputy attorney general; CEO of Enterprise Florida; a Northwest Florida Water Management District board member; state attorney for Palm Beach County; general counsel for the governor; director of the South Florida Water Management District; supervisor of elections for Broward County; and director of the Office of Elections and Security.
