A new civil procedural rule amendment to eliminate a conflict between two rules on default notices, including to eliminate the chance a party facing default might not receive a notice, has been approved by the Civil Procedure Rules Committee.

The proposed amendments to Rule 1.500 were approved by the committee in June and will be advertised to Bar members for comments before eventually being reviewed by the Bar Board of Governors and submitted to the Supreme Court.
