The Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) raised more than $45,000 at its inaugural Carnival and Cookout: Battle of Los Puercos, which saw 11 teams competing to win the title of best pork dish.

More than 250 people attended the event on April 5 at Cooper Park in West Miami. All proceeds benefited CABA Pro Bono Legal Services, the nonprofit founded by CABA in 1984.
