COVID-19 Pandemic Recovery Task Force extension is on the table
Now that vaccines are more widely available and the health crisis is receding, the COVID-19 Pandemic Recovery Task Force hopes to explore remote technology’s potential to improve court efficiency.
At a May 21 hybrid meeting on Duck Key, the Board of Governors could be asked to extend the task force for another year.
According to a staff analysis, the extension would allow the task force to explore the development of a fully automated online platform to resolve small, civil monetary disputes of up to $1,000.
