Completely online, the Bar’s Reporters’ Handbook on Law-Related Topics has been updated and repackaged
Whether it is about elections, “Sunshine” laws, public policy issues, or just logging on to watch a Zoom hearing, reporters who cover the legal beat in Florida have a lot to deal with.
That’s why more than 40 years ago, The Florida Bar Media & Communications Law Committee started publishing the Reporters’ Handbook on Law-Related Topics, a resource guide for journalists. The handbook is still used by reporters and attorneys alike, but the format has evolved over the years.
Florida Supreme Court Communication Director Craig Waters said he kept the last print edition of the Reporters’ Handbook on his desk for quick reference.
