Navigation Committee approves, promotes law firm pro bono form
Approving a new form to both let law firms know about the Bar rule allowing a collective satisfaction of pro bono goals and to encourage them to use that option has been approved by the Pro Bono Legal Services Committee.
The committee, at its January 13 meeting, also worked on a comment it will file on a pending case to amend Bar rules on how The Florida Bar Foundation can use IOTA funds.
The committee addressed several other matters, including restarting its former pro bono One Campaign, hearing about cy pres-related bills in the upcoming legislative session, and holding a pro bono summit at the Bar’s Fall Meeting in October.
