Miami attorney Alex Saiz says the Florida Justice Center and FACDL are creating a clothing closet stocked with donated business attire that indigent clients can wear to court.

“Innocent until proven guilty” is harder to reinforce when a jury sees a suspect in a prison uniform.

Hoping to level the playing field, the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Florida Justice Center will be stocking a closet with donated business attire that indigent clients can wear to court.
