Chief Judge Ficarrotta

Gov. Ron DeSantis recently appointed 13th Circuit Chief Judge Ronald Ficarrotta to the Commission on Mental Health and Substance Abuse.

Ficarrotta of Tampa created the circuit’s Mental Health Court and Juvenile Mental Health Court and currently oversees both. He earned his bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Florida and juris doctor from the South Texas College of Law.
