It all started with a Red Mass 10 or 11 years ago.

Venice attorney Evelyn Moya enjoyed the Red Mass held in Tallahassee at the start of the annual legislative session, and one in the Tampa area.

So, she pressed the Diocese of Venice, and a Red Mass was organized. That brought together a group of Catholic lawyers who began talking about local community needs, especially as seen in the variety of Catholic charity programs.
