Navigation Business Law Section sets legislative priorities

Improving the process of service on businesses, updating the UCC, making it easier to put judgment liens on non-exempt property, and protecting otherwise exempt property from inadvertently being subject to a judgment are legislative priorities for the Business Law Section.
Chair Kacy Donlon said the section has followed its normal, careful procedure in vetting its legislation positions for the upcoming 2022 session.
