The Business Law Section Diversity Fellowship Program is designed to assist a diverse and inclusive group of lawyers in becoming better leaders within the profession and the section, while enhancing their leadership skills.

To facilitate its goals, the section created the fellowship program in 2013, and has ever since provided a two-year subsidy to a select group of applicants who expressed an interest in becoming active in the substantive work and leadership of the section.

Since the first class of fellows (2013-2015), more than 50 fellows have taken part in the program and many have continued to stay involved in the section.
