Navigation Board to weigh wide-ranging rule and policy revisions December 5
The Board of Governors will consider a host of proposed rule, policy, and bylaw revisions when it meets December 5 in Orlando
The Legislation Committee’s proposed amendments to series 900 of the standing board policies would offer more guidance to bar groups that have not been “consistently following procedures” and asking questions about compliance over the past year, sponsors say.
For example, proposed changes to Standing Board Policy 9.11 (Definitions) would add two new subdivisions “c” and “d” offering definitions of “legislative activity” and “biennial positions,” respectively.
