Navigation Board of Governors to make December appointments
The Florida Bar Board of Governors is seeking applicants for the following vacancies to be filled during its December 5, 2025, meeting. Lawyer applicants must be members of The Florida Bar and in good standing.
Eleventh Circuit Judicial Conference (Northern District): One attorney delegate to represent the Northern District of Florida, to serve a four-year term commencing January 1, 2026. The biennial conference consists of educational opportunities and meetings (by state) on matters of mutual concern. The Florida Bar’s three delegates contribute to planning and organizing an event during the conferences which take place in every even numbered year.
Florida Realtor-Attorney Joint Committee: Seven attorneys, one from each state appellate district and one at-large delegate, to serve two-year terms commencing January 1, 2026. The Florida Bar president receives the recommendations of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section for consideration. The joint committee is composed of 13 attorney members appointed by The Florida Bar and 13 Realtor®/broker members appointed by Florida Realtors®. The joint committee promotes cordial relations between Realtors/licensed brokers and attorneys and organizes educational seminars.
