Navigation Board expected to finalize proposed rule for dealing with judicial referrals for lawyer discipline
The Board of Governors is expected to weigh a proposed Bar rule regarding judicial referrals for lawyer discipline when it convenes an interim meeting April 29.
Meeting virtually, the board is expected to take final action on proposed Bar Rule 3-7.18 (Disposition of Inquiries or Complaints Referred to the Bar by Members of the Judiciary).
The proposal was noticed March 15 in the News and developed by the Special Committee on Judicial Referrals on Discipline Matters, which is co-chaired by board members Paige Greenlee and Michael Fox Orr.
