The Board of Legal Specialization and Education is currently accepting nominations for its two annual board certification awards — The Justice Harry Lee Anstead Award, which recognizes the board certified lawyer of the year, and the Excellence in the Promotion of Board Certification Award.

The 2022 awards will be presented by Supreme Court Chief Justice Charles Canady at the Board Certified Lawyers Reception and Pinning Ceremony, sponsored by the BLSE and Florida Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company, during The Florida Bar Annual Convention at Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek & Waldorf Astoria on June 10 at 6 p.m. Members who became certified in August 2021 and will become certified June 1 will also be recognized.

Nomination forms for the Justice Harry Lee Anstead Award and the Award for Excellence in the Promotion of Board Certification are both available online. Nominations are due April 18.
