Black Women Lawyers Association of Central Florida launches to empower, uplift legal community
Black Women Lawyers Association of Central Florida has launched. The newly established Black Women Lawyers Association of Central Florida, Inc. (BWLACF) has officially launched, “creating a powerful and affirming space for Black women attorneys and law students across Central Florida,” according to its organizers.
The organization was founded to address “the unique challenges faced by Black women in the legal profession, while fostering a thriving network rooted in mentorship, support, and advancement.” The association is committed to building a vibrant legal community across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, Brevard, Volusia, and Polk counties.
