Navigation Bills to provide Florida clerks with more stable revenue sources filed in House and Senate

The Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers hope the filing of two identical pieces of legislation can provide a more stable revenue source for their court-related responsibilities.
On February 23, Sen. Travis Hutson, R-Palm Coast, filed SB 1130 while Rep. Adam Botana, R-Bonita Springs filed the companion HB 977 tht both aim to diversify revenues, support staffing needs, and account for services without a dedicated funding source.
