Navigation Bill would allow judges to take ‘judicial notice’ of web mapping services

The Senate Judiciary Committee has approved a measure that would allow judges to take “judicial notice” of web-based mapping services, global satellite imaging, or internet mapping tools.
The committee voted 10-0 on January 10 to approve SB 634 by Sen. Jennifer Bradley, R-Orange Park.
