After an emotional debate, a House panel approved a measure that would bar defense attorneys from deposing sexual assault victims younger than 18, absent a showing of good cause.
The House Judiciary Committee voted 19-4 on April 11 to approve HB 1037 by Rep. Taylor Yarkosky, R-Clermont.
