April 30 is the deadline to make Consumer Protection Lawyer of the Year Award nominations
Consumer attorneys are the lawyers Floridians often turn to when they are in crisis, facing foreclosures or evictions, trying to restore their credit, or dealing with deceptive and unfair business practices.
The Florida Bar’s Consumer Protection Law Committee seeks to honor a legal service, public interest, academic, private, or other deserving attorney whose special contributions to the practice of consumer law have strengthened and affirmed the rights of consumers in Florida by not only helping consumers, but also educating peers about the practice of consumer law.
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2024 Consumer Protection Lawyer of the Year Award. You may submit a nomination on behalf of yourself or any other Florida lawyer you believe should be considered for the award. The nomination form is available on the committee’s page on The Florida Bar website. Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. on April 30, 2024. If you have any questions, please contact Melanie Woodall at mwoodall@floridabar.org.
