The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education is currently accepting second-cycle initial applications for the 2022 board certification exams. The second cycle application filing deadline is October 31.

Established in 1982 by the Florida Supreme Court, board certification demonstrates a lawyer’s significant commitment to and experience in a specialty field of law. Board-certified lawyers have dedicated themselves to a heightened level of excellence through character, professionalism, ethics, and credibility in the practice of law.

The Florida Bar board certification program offers 27 areas of law, and over 5,000 board-certified lawyers, making it the largest board certification program in the country. Access the applications, rules, policies, exam dates, and specifications online at www.Floridabar.org/certification.
