Antitrust and Trade Regulation Law Certification may close due to a lack of new applicants
Florida’s distinguished fraternity of board-certified antitrust lawyers is about to become more exclusive.
The Board of Governors this week will begin considering proposed amendments to Bar rules that would close the “Antitrust and Trade Regulation Law” certification area to new applicants.
Florida’s nine remaining board-certified attorneys – including First District Court of Appeal Chief Judge Lori S. Rowe, and two Tallahassee lawyers who serve in the Department of Legal Affairs – would remain eligible for recertification.
