Dade Legal Aid/Put Something Back’s 30th Annual Nuts and Bolts of Divorce Family Law Seminar to recruit and train attorneys to handle pro bono cases drew more than  85 attendees to the virtual event.

Held in collaboration with the Miami Dade Bar Family Courts Committee and Young Lawyers Section, Dade Legal Aid Executive Director Karen Ladis the program helped replenished its pool of pro bono family attorneys by recruiting 50 new pro bono volunteers.

This year’s panel included opening remarks from 11th Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Nushin G. Sayfie, and presentations by Administrative Judge Samantha Ruiz Cohen and Judge Christina Marie DiRaimondo of the Family Division,  Jordan Abramowitz Abramowitz & Associates, Maria C. Gonzalez of Maria C. Gonzalez, P.A., Catherine Rodriguez of Filler Rodriguez, and Jacqueline M. Valdespino of Valdespino & Associates.  Serving as moderators on behalf of the Miami Dade Bar Family Courts were Co-Chair Brittany Bonner of Filler Rodriguez, Co-Chair Amber Kornreich of Kornreich & Associates, and Vice Chair Marck Joseph of The Joseph Law Firm.
