YLD President Anisha Patel says the YLD’s role is to ensure that young lawyers are given the education they need to exhibit the highest standards of professionalism, remain out of the disciplinary system, and, ultimately, excel as lawyers.

Young Lawyers Division President Anisha Patel pledged at her June 23 swearing in ceremony at the Annual Florida Bar Convention in Boca Raton to work to support the 23,000 young lawyers in Florida the YLD serves.

“If you’ve attended law school in the last five or so years, graduated, and also passed the bar . . .  there can be no question about your work ethic or commitment to this profession,” Patel said. “What matters is that you’re given the tools and opportunity to succeed.”
